Humanitarian visa for Belarus

The immigration authorities of Belarus distinguish three durations of visas:

• up to 30 days stay with one-time, two-time or multiple entries
• up to 90 days stay with one-time, two-time or multiple entries
• 90 days stay per year with multiple entries

The first two variants are valid for a continuous period, i.e., 30 or 90 days in a row. The visa for one year offers the possibility to visit Belarus all year round. However, here too, the maximum duration of stay is limited to 90 days.

For your visa application at the Belarusian Embassy or the Consulate General in Munich, you need in addition to the common documents such as passport and application form, a proof of participation in an aid project. In the case of visas up to 30 or 90 days, an application from the Department for Humanitarian Aid is required in original or as a copy. There is no request to submit documents at the consular section for the multi-visa (90 days per year). However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus reviews the application from the Department for Humanitarian Aid before a decision on the visa issuance is made.
