Requirements for entering Tajikistan

If your visa is not a tourist visa, you need to obtain a separate approval from the authority or the company that invited you to Tajikistan. This document must be presented when applying for a visa online or requested from the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

When applying for a visa, a certificate of HIV/AIDS vaccination must be presented, as Tajikistan is in the risk zone for infection. In addition, it is important to be vaccinated against pertussis, tetanus, and diphtheria.

Depending on age and individual recommendations, you may need vaccinations against typhoid, rubella, mumps, measles, and polio. Consider your travel route, and if you plan to stay in rural areas and eat outdoors, make sure you are vaccinated against all possible infections. Also, consider the timing of vaccinations, as the body needs time to build immunity.

If a child is traveling alone, in addition to a visa, insurance, birth certificate, and passport, they must present an entry permit notarized and signed by both parents. And if the child is traveling with an unaccompanied third party, a parental authorization is required.

Select activities and itineraries according to the age and interests of the children. For young children, walks in parks, visits to zoos, museums with interactive exhibitions are suitable. For older children, mountain hikes, jeep tours, and visits to historical sites are interesting.
