Business Visa Tajikistan

For a business trip to Tajikistan, you need a business visa. This allows you, for example, to meet potential customers, conduct business negotiations, or participate in seminars and conferences. Employment on-site, however, is not allowed. If you plan to accept a job with a Tajik company, a work visa is required.

Note:

Currently, for the application of a "classic visa" - which is pasted into the passport - a personal appearance and the submission of fingerprints at the embassy or consulate is necessary. We therefore recommend applying for an e-Visa for Tajikistan through us.

For the issuance of visas for Tajikistan, the Tajik Embassy in Berlin is responsible in Germany. The authority requires the following documents from the applicant for the issuance of business visas:

• Passport with at least 6 months validity from the day of visa issuance: Original and copy of the first two pages, at least 1 blank page for the visa note
• 2 passport photos (3 x 4 cm)
• Visa application in duplicate, fully completed and signed (signature in the passport and on the form must match)
• Dispatch or reference letter from the sending company (employer in the home country) with the following information: Name of the traveler, purpose of travel, places of stay, proof of cost coverage, clear travel period, frequency of entry, business partner in Tajikistan
• for non-EU citizens: Residence permit for Germany in copy (valid for at least another 6 months)
• for EU citizens (except Germans): Registration certificate for the Federal Republic of Germany (not older than 6 months)
• Invitation from a Tajik business partner*

The trading partner in Tajikistan must create an invitation and obtain accreditation of the letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Ministry forwards the approval to the Tajik Embassy in Berlin. The partner sends the confirmed invitation letter (Telex number) by fax to the applicant, who submits it together with the other application documents for the visa application.

A business invitation is not required for single entry for Germans, Austrians, and nationals of around 80 countries. Visitors from states not eligible for the simplified scheme and business travelers applying for a multi-business visa for multiple entries require an invitation letter with confirmation from the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

If you intend to travel to the high mountains of Gorno-Badakhshan or Pamir, you need a special permit as an entry in your visa. Please note point 21 in the visa application.

Visa validity and maximum length of stay are identical. It is therefore important to provide the exact travel dates in the application forms. Arrival and departure days must be taken into account. Exceeding or falling short of the period defined on the visa is not allowed. Please check the information on the visa in your passport. Validities of up to 12 months are possible in justified cases, but the standard is 90 days for single or multiple entries.

Travelers are required to register with the Ovir within 3 days of entry. Please check in advance whether your accommodation or business partner can handle the registration.
