Yes, children are subject to the same entry requirements as adults, meaning they also need an identification document and a visa for a stay in Tajikistan.
Is it necessary to send the passport in original?
Yes, the Embassy of Tajikistan requires your identification document for the visa endorsement in original.
Is it possible to personally submit the application documents at König Tours?
Of course, you are welcome to bring the documents to us in Brühl near Cologne. If you do not live near our headquarters, insured postal delivery is a convenient solution for you.
Is valid travel insurance required for the visa application?
Getting travel health insurance is not mandatory, but highly recommended. The coverage should include repatriation insurance.
How long does it take to obtain my visa?
For Tajikistan, processing times of 15, 10, or 5 (Express) working days are available depending on the visa category. Please note that shorter processing times will incur higher fees. To meet the number of estimated working days, we assume that you provide us with your application documents in full. German and Tajik holidays may cause delays. What are the fees for obtaining a visa?

Is there a registration requirement for travelers in Tajikistan?
Yes, foreign visitors are required to register with the OVIR within 3 days of entry. However, holders of a tourist visa are only subject to this regulation if they plan to stay for more than 30 days. Please read our notes on registration in Tajikistan.
Are there any special health requirements for traveling to Tajikistan?
If the intended stay is more than 90 days, travelers need to present proof of a negative HIV test. Vaccinations are not mandatory, but many travelers take precautions against diphtheria, tetanus, polio, hepatitis A and typhus, and possibly hepatitis B and rabies. It is strongly recommended to check the vaccination record with the doctor before traveling.
