Legalization Turkmenistan currently not possible

The Legalization Turkmenistan is currently not possible according to the Federal Foreign Office. German documents cannot be legalized for Turkmenistan. Turkmen documents can only be considered genuine by German authorities in exceptional cases. Authorities are free to accept or reject the documents.

Since October 2014, no document checks are carried out in Turkmenistan.
