Indonesia has announced the introduction of a five-year visa for multiple entries
Indonesia has announced the introduction of a new five-year multiple-entry visa program for tourists and business travelers. This initiative by the Directorate General of Immigration aims to attract more tourists and business travelers. The issuance of the five-year visa will contribute to the development of the country's economy and make traveling to Indonesia more affordable. The duration of stay for holders of such a visa is up to 60 days. The cost of the five-year multiple-entry visa is $972 (15,000,000 Indonesian Rupiah) and the visa fee must be paid online.
Holders of this visa can visit Indonesia for tourism and business purposes as well as to visit family and friends. However, applicants should be advised that this visa does not entitle them to employment in Indonesia.
Indonesia has always tried to change its visa policy to attract more foreign nationals to the country. To incentivize the tourism industry, Indonesia is also considering lifting the visa requirement for 20 countries.
