India expands number of entry points for e-visa holders
India continues to expand entry opportunities for foreign travelers with an electronic visa (e-Visa). The country's authorities have opened additional entry points by air, sea, and land, aimed at simplifying the logistics of international travel and distributing tourist flows more evenly.
The decision was made against the background of recent updates to the electronic visa system, including the extension of the validity period of the tourist e-Visa. Expanding the geography of entry enhances accessibility to both major metropolises and regional and coastal destinations, as well as strengthens India's position as one of the key tourist hubs in Asia.
