Kyrgyzstan has reduced the visa-free stay period for citizens of 55 countries
Kyrgyzstan has revised the conditions for visa-free entry for foreign citizens. According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, which came into force on December 31, 2025, citizens of a number of states are subject to a reduced period of visa-free stay and registration.
Now citizens of 55 countries can stay in Kyrgyzstan without a visa for no more than 30 calendar days within a 60-day period from the date of entry. After this period expires, foreigners are obliged to leave the country or formalize their legal status of stay in accordance with migration legislation.
Previously, these categories of foreigners were subject to a more lenient regime — up to 60 days within a 120-day period. Authorities note that the changes are aimed at increasing transparency and streamlining migration rules.
