Azerbaijan has given Formula 1 fans a gift—simplified visas for fans of the legendary race!

Azerbaijan has taken an important step towards Formula 1 fans: the entry procedure for the guests of the Grand Prix 2025 in Baku has been simplified. Now foreign citizens can obtain a visa upon arrival at international airports from August 25 to September 30, 2025. For this, it is enough to present a race ticket, a purchase confirmation, or accreditation from the organizers.

This decision is a logical continuation of the country's aspiration to turn Baku into one of the centers of global sports tourism. Since the debut of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in the Formula 1 calendar in 2016, the Baku track has earned a reputation as one of the most spectacular and technical street arenas of the championship.

The authorities expect that the simplified visa regime will attract even more fans, journalists, and specialists in 2025. Experience from previous years confirms these expectations: in 2024, the stage gathered a record 76 thousand spectators, and the flow of tourists provided significant growth for hotels, restaurants, and the transport sector.

The Grand Prix itself will take place from September 19 to 21: attendees can look forward to free practices, qualifying, and the main event — the race on Sunday. For Azerbaijan, it is not only a sports spectacle but also an opportunity to strengthen the country's image as a hospitable and modern tourist destination.
