Diplomatic visa for Algeria

If you are a German citizen, a diplomat, and plan to engage in diplomatic activities at the German Embassy in Algiers, you need a valid Diplomatic Visa, also known as an Accreditation Visa, to enter Algeria. The visa for German civil servants whose destination is the capital of Algeria is exclusively issued by the Algerian Embassy in Berlin. Civil servants from EU countries Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Hungary, Romania, Spain, Malta, Portugal as well as diplomats from Switzerland and some other nations also do not need an entry visa for Algeria - provided they have a diplomatic or service passport.
