Vietnam opens new entry points for tourists
Vietnam has announced a major expansion of its electronic visa system: 41 new entry points have been added, including airports, seaports, and land borders. There are now 83 e-visa entry points in total, making the country one of the most accessible destinations for international travelers in the region. The goal of this initiative is to increase visitor numbers and support regional development.

The new measure will allow tour operators to create new routes, including combined trips across the Mekong regions, cruise programs, and secondary destinations. For airlines, the expansion means launching additional flights and increasing frequency on popular routes. The Vietnamese authorities expect that simplified entry procedures will boost tourist flows in winter and during the Lunar New Year, while local regions will receive new investments and an opportunity to distribute tourism resources more evenly.
