The Tanzanian Embassy in Germany has several key functions:

• Consular Services: Providing assistance to Tanzanian nationals in Germany on passport issues, protection of rights, citizenship and in case of emergencies.
• Visa support: Issuing visas for German and non-German nationals wishing to visit Tanzania and advising on visa requirements and entry regulations.
• Promotion ofeconomic cooperation: Promotion of trade and investment between Tanzania and Germany, assistance in realization of business projects and attraction of investors.
• Cultural and educational exchanges: Organizing events aimed at promoting cultural and educational cooperation and supporting students from Tanzania.
• Diplomatic relations: Strengthening of political interaction between Tanzania and Germany, participation in international negotiations and forums.
