Visa to Kyrgyzstan for tourist trips

From December 31, 2025, Kyrgyzstan has revised the rules for visa-free entry for foreign nationals. Now, citizens of a number of countries have a reduced period of stay without a visa and registration.

Main rules:

Citizens of 55 countries can stay in Kyrgyzstan without a visa for no more than 30 calendar days within a 60-day period from the date of entry.
After this period, it is necessary to leave the country or obtain a legal status of stay in accordance with immigration laws.

Previously, a longer regime applied to these foreign nationals: up to 60 days within a 120-day period. This rule has been preserved for:

Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Northern Ireland, Saudi Arabia, UAE

You can stay in the country for up to 60 days without a visa with any of the three listed visas.

Information for travelers

All foreign tourists receive an entry stamp in their passport at the border with Kyrgyzstan, regardless of the planned duration of the trip. The presence of the stamp is checked by official persons upon departure. Therefore, tourists are advised to make sure that they have received such a stamp upon arrival. Also note that registration in Kyrgyzstan is mandatory from the 61st day of stay! The OVIR at the relevant police department at the place of stay is responsible for registration.
