If you are a non-EU citizen and want to travel to Hong Kong, you will need a visa depending on your nationality. Citizens of Switzerland, Norway, and Iceland are exempt. Citizens of the USA, Turkey, Japan, Canada, Lebanon, Malaysia, Egypt, Australia, Brazil, India, Indonesia, and Iceland also do not need a visa for Hong Kong. Visa exemption also applies to travelers with Philippine, South Korean, South African, and Thai citizenship. All others need the Tourist Visa Hong Kong.

You can apply for a 1-/2-time tourist visa for Hong Kong for 3, 6, and 12 months. With a multiple-entry tourist visa, you can leave Hong Kong to travel to China. Please note the visa guidelines for China in this case.
