New Zealand to change visa fees for applicants from 26 countries
From January 1, 2026, New Zealand will increase the service charge at visa centers in 26 countries. As reported by the country's Immigration Service, the decision is associated with an increase in operational expenses and inflation. The changes exclusively concern the service fee at visa centers and do not affect the main government visa fee.
The increase will be effective in several countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Pacific region. Travelers are advised to verify the updated tariffs on the official resources of the New Zealand Immigration Service and VFS Global before submitting their documents.
List of countries where the service charge at visa centers will increase:
Australia, Bangladesh, Fiji, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Nepal and Bhutan, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Vanuatu, Vietnam
