Tourist visa for Israel

You are planning a trip to Israel? Perhaps you want to relax at the Dead Sea, visit cities like Jerusalem or Tel Aviv, or travel to Israel as a pilgrim? In order to pass the Israeli border safely and without complications, you need a tourist visa. A tourist visa for Israel is usually issued for 30 days. Please note that for travelers with the following nationalities, entry to Israel is visa-free:

The tourist visa allows you to stay in Israel for a maximum of 3 months. German citizens born after 01.01.1928 need a passport valid for 6 months upon entry. The visa will be entered into the passport at the airport. An extension in Israel is possible if you can present a certificate of good conduct with apostille (can be requested through the embassy) and a registration certificate from the registration office with apostille.
