Internship Thailand: Apply for a visa now
Business visas and student visas as "Internship visa Thailand"
There is no internship visa for Thailand as a separate visa category. The business visa and the student visa (visa for education and training) are intended for an internship in Thailand.
Student visa vs. business visa
Which visa is the right one depends on whether the applicant has student status or not. If they are enrolled as a student at a university in Germany or elsewhere, the regulations of the student visa, officially known as a non-immigrant visa ED (ed = education), apply. This is divided into two sub-categories and entitles the holder to either a single entry (type S) for a stay of up to 90 days or multiple entries (type M) of up to 3 months each over the course of a year. The type S visa can usually be extended locally without any problems.
If you are not enrolled as a student at a university, you will need a Business Visa Thailand for an internship. Business visas entitle the holder to stays of 90 days and, like educational visas, can be extended in Thailand if required.

The right visa for Thailand
The Thai embassy or consulate will also request a copy of the student ID and certificate of enrollment from enrolled interns who are studying.
