Bulgaria launches visa for digital nomads and develops tourism

Bulgaria officially launches a visa for digital nomads, aimed at citizens of non-EU countries working remotely. The new program allows freelancers, employees of foreign companies, and business owners to legally reside in the country with a confirmed annual income of 31,000 euros. The initiative is aimed at attracting mobile professionals interested in the European lifestyle, affordable living costs, and freedom of movement across Europe.

The authorities consider the new visa as a strategic tool for the development of future tourism.
