Visa-free travel: Barbados, Belize, Dominica, and Saint Vincent sign new agreement
Barbados, Belize, Dominica, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines have signed a historic agreement on the free movement of citizens. From October 1, 2025, residents of these countries can live and work in each other without the need to obtain visas or work permits.
The agreement provides that upon entry into any of the participating countries a stamp will be placed or a digital record will be made confirming the right to indefinite stay. Additionally, they are provided access to education, medical, and social services on the same terms as for local residents.
This agreement is an important step towards deepening regional integration. Meanwhile, governments have retained the right to deny entry to individuals who pose a threat to national security.
Previously, free movement within CARICOM was limited to economic purposes, and the duration of stay without a work permit was no more than six months. Now, citizens of the four countries can move without visas and formalities, including traveling with family.
Any visa to the Caribbean can be arranged through the visa agency www.buch-dein-visum.de — quickly, conveniently, and with a guarantee of proper documentation.
