Embassy of the Republic of Iraq — is the official diplomatic representation of Iraq in Germany, responsible for relations between the two countries, as well as for providing consular services to Iraqi citizens living or temporarily staying in Germany and other European countries.

Mission of the Iraqi Embassy

The embassy serves the entire consular district of Germany, i.e., assists both Iraqi citizens and other individuals with matters related to Iraq (passport, legalization, visas and more).

Consular Services

• The embassy provides the following main types of services:
• Issuance and renewal/extension of Iraqi passports for Iraqi citizens registered in Germany and Europe.
• Legalization and certification of documents (notarial services, translations, certifications).
• Registration of civil status acts (birth, marriage, death), as well as other official records.
• Issuance of emergency or travel documents in special cases.
• Information and support on issues of return or repatriation of Iraqi citizens.
