Taiwan introduces mandatory digital arrival card for all foreigners
All foreign travelers heading to Taiwan must now fill out a digital entry card (Taiwan Arrival Card, TWAC). This can be done no earlier than 72 hours before arriving in the country. The new requirement applies to everyone who is not a permanent resident of Taiwan, including tourists and business travelers.
Previously, entry data was filled out on paper upon arrival at the airport. Now this process has been completely moved online. The electronic arrival card must be issued within three days before entering the country. After registration, the system issues a QR code, which is presented for scanning during passport control.
Any visa for Taiwan, as well as assistance with the digital arrival card, can be obtained through our visa agency www.buch-dein-visum.de — it is a convenient, quick, and reliable way to submit documents without errors and delays.
